[ mood | bored ]

If your dog or cat had a mobile phone, who would be listed first on her or his speed dial?

the female cat next door -_-

If only you think about me, the way you think about her. Could you? Would you?

Why don't you just go away
I can't seem to get my head straight
There's so much I need to say
It could take all day

But what you got
I don't need it
I can't listen
To all your reasons

Writer's Block: Thumbs down! [11 Jan 2010|08:39am]
[ mood | discontent ]

What are your least favorite book and movie genres? Are you willing to make exceptions? Do you ever feel left out of social events/discussions owing to atypical taste in movies/books?

For me, it's definitely sci-fi. Recent exception was the Star Trek movie. Different tastes in movies/books doesn't make me feel uncomfortable or left out of social events, in fact, it allows for more discussions among us :D

Writer's Block: Would you want a do-over? [25 Sep 2009|08:19am]
[ mood | listless ]

Given the choice, would you start this day over again? How about this month or this year?

I would like to re-start this year again if I were able to do so. A do-over is exactly what I could do with. Birthday present, anyone?

Writer's Block: Tricky Questions [17 Jan 2009|04:38am]
[ mood | accomplished ]

What is your first reaction when someone says "I need to talk to you"?

Unfortunately, I tend to react badly when confronted with these words. My most common reaction would be to avoid having to talk. If that fails, run like hell.

Writer's Block: Comfort Food [10 Jan 2009|11:35am]
[ mood | ditzy ]

When times are tough or you're feeling down, what's the one food you can count on to make you feel better?

Rocky-road Ice-Cream (or Tiramisu Ice-Cream) with Seedless Grapes.

What is the one question you've always wanted someone to ask you?

What makes you tick?

Writer's Block: Be Prepared [04 Dec 2008|01:07am]
[ mood | distressed ]

We live in uncertain times. Earthquakes, hurricanes, the ever-present threat of zombies—do you have a disaster plan ready in case one of these things happens to you?

One thing I'm really afraid of, is to die in agony. So I'd probably have some contingency plan, like an emergency pack or a safe room someplace. But if it's really really bad and like, the world is on the verge of ending or, I know I'll not make it, I'd probably end my life by my own hands. Cowards way out I know, but I'm not a brave person at all.

Writer's Block: Physical Education [02 Dec 2008|07:15pm]
[ mood | blah ]

Call it gym, P.E., recess, or pure hell, most people have participated in a class at school that focused on games and athletics. What sport or game did you hate the most when you were a kid? What sport or game was your favorite?

ABSOLUTELY hated cross country running. LOVED badminton and basketball.

Writer's Block: Little Women [29 Nov 2008|06:00pm]
[ mood | ecstatic ]

Fans of Little Women often divide along Jo/Amy lines. Jo was independent and smart, but Amy always seemed to get what she wanted and have more fun. Are you in the Jo camp or the Amy camp?

I'm definitely a Jo camper. I thinks it's mainly beacuse when I was reading the book for the very first time, I always go "That's exactly what I would have done/say were I in her place!".

And it's precisely for the fact that Amy always seemed to get what she wanted that I wasn't exactly a fan of her.

And yes, I am one of those who thinks that Jo should have ended up with Teddy. Given a little time, Teddy would have matured and the initial rejection would cause him to grow up a little, and she could probably be able to rcognize that fact given a chance.

Alas! It wasn't meant to be. However, it must be said that Little Women was a great read, and I truly enjoyed reading it.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
